I am 33 years old & One year before (January2007) I noticed mild pain in both the knees while I stair up.Gradually Its intensity started to increase. After one month my doctor advised me the Glucosamine+Chondriton sulphate for three months.I use it irregularly, but my symptoms go on incresing.
Now I can not run, jump and stair up.
Again I am using Glucosamine+Chondriton Sulphate in high dosage since December 07.I don’t feel any improvement in my symptoms except that the disease seems to be halted for the time being. I am also doing the “Isometric Quadriceps Exercises” which I feel little effective than above supplements.
Four years before I had a Right knee injury, but that time it was totally recovered within three months & for next four years I remained totally fit.
The MRI report of Both the knees(dated 27November2007) is attached here.
My doctor does not agree with degenerative changes. In his opinion it is some type of injury to both knees. I am not satisfied with my diagnosis & hence the treatment too.
I don’t know what is my exact diagnosis, Please help in this regard?
What is underlying cause ?
