Testing the waters here...
I'm 21, and I've ran sporadically over the past several years (in school), and got a job last summer after i got out of college. After sitting in an office for prolonged periods of time, i decided i needed to go work out. In dec, i joined a gym and run 3-3.5 miles, five days a week. Last thursday, i heard a pop and my knee has been hurting off and on. I ran lightly on friday, and after running monday and yesterday, it seems to be getting worse. I have a bit of a limp, and there is pain and numbness on all sides (inner, outer, top, bottom) of my upper left thigh, which seems to be originating somewhere on the outside of my kneecap.
I'm a healthy eater and avoid any fast food/high fat/ bad oils, transfats, etc.. and eat lots of greens and the like...
