Hi

Serveral weeks ago, while I was jogging, my knee had given way. There was not popping or clicking sound when this occurred. I had a difficult time walking back to my car. About an hour later my right knee swell up and I put ice and took anti-inflam tablets. About an hour later the swelling went away. Since, then I ave been able to walk normally with restricted speed. I have been to two GP's and saw my Chiro. They all said that there is nothing wrong with the stability of the knee. They had mentioned that there is no point in getting an X-ray or MRI scan at this stage. I have a diffucly time walking at a steady speed, however I do not limp. I have been biking riding at medium intensity, and this seems to help. Walking up stairs sometimes hurts, and the pain is in the back of the knee cap. I have been doing exercises to strengthen my quads and also have been stretching the surronding muscles. Recent (over the last week), I have been getting very stiff thighs (hamstrings in partivular)

I am in the process of seeing a Phsiopheraphy, should a get an X-ray or MRI. I don;t have confidence in my knee to start playing tennis, golf or even power walking as my right knee seems very weak.

Regards
Najee
