  • My grandma is 87 years old and she got her knee replaced 2 years ago and she recovered really well.and surprizingly fast as well.i think your mom would be just fine having the surgery but it is mandatory she does the certain knee excersizes the doctor prints out for her and she will have to use a walker at first dont let her walk without it! And she will need a family member there or a person that can be there to change her bandages and put a fresh tight sock on over the knee for the first few weeks and she will also need help with her excersizes and keep her motivated and help her threw it the excersizes will be alittle painful but she has to do it or the knee wont heal correctly.but your moms age wouldnt stop a healing process.she would be okay :)
