have had some severe knee pains while running lately. i am 15 years old. i do track and cross country. my knees started to hurt at the end of track and have really picked up since then. i started the summer running camp last week but could not finish 2 miles. the pain is excruciating. it kind if hurts going up and down the stairs and kneeling on the ground. it hurts on the sides of both of my knees and the shin is tender. it only really starts hurting with exercise. my coach thought it was osgood schaltter, but my x-rays came back negative of everything. they said it might be just tenderness, but i am the top runner in my school i think i can run through tenderness. my hips also hurt. what do i have if the osgood schlatter is negative on my x-ray?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
