I have a problem with my knee and the doctors say there is nothing wrong. I'm getting frustrated because I've been waiting about 3 weeks and then they simply say nothing. It had been slightly hurting when i positioned it certain ways for a couple of months but then a couple of weeks ago my knee "locked" while i was sleeping on my side. It hurt terribly. After that my knee has been hurting and it has gone up and down. it has been better the last couple of days but i have not been doing activities except walking and I've been wearing a knee brace. What I feel is a very large discomfort in almost any position, like there is a heavy weight on my knee and i feel some relief when i bend my knee completely to my chest. Then I also get sudden sharp pains on the inner side of my knee and sometimes what feels like a tendon on the side of my lower leg clicks and this really hurts. It's a sharp, terrible but quick pain. My knee is also very sensitive under the knee cap. It was also clicking and making alot of sounds when i would move the knee around. The only thing I don't have is visible swelling. So I had an MRI done and when we called they said there was a swelling or something and then when i went to the Dr today she said there was nothing wrong..I HAD to say that they said it was at least swollen and she was like-oh yea, there was some swelling...this alone made me distrust her bc she didn't even consider swelling like something. When I asked then why did my knee lock and the clicking, etc and she just keeps saying the mri didnt show anything. What is wrong with my knee! I don't trust them...because according to them I guess your knee locking while sleeping and sharp pains and clicking all the time is normalReply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
