hi, im 23 years old very athletic and moving person. i like to play lots of diff sports and hit up the gym. about a week ago i was playing soccer and had an injury on my knee it hurt like crazy the 1st second of the impact but then didnt i was able to bend my leg and even jog a little right after the injury. after going home in a car and sitting in 1 position for about 45min the pain set in and i could barely walk afterwards , limping home was not fun. the same night i had difficulties sleeping as my knee had swollen up like a balloon compare to my other knee , i had no bruises apart from 2 cut looking lines or veins on the inner part of my knee ( the left one ) it hurt like crazy to extend my leg all the way and i had to basically keep it bent and walk like that for the next 2 days. now about 6 days later i can walk with little limping and the swelling is gone except that the back part of my knee ( popliteal fossa ) hurts when i extend my leg out all the way. i didnt go to a doctor to check this out or emergency room to get an x-ray , so if anyone can just give me a bit of advice that be greatly appreciated. thank you ahead of time.
