  • Dear Charles in Cal,From my own experience, the answer is nobody knows. For my knee injury I have seen two GPs, three Orthopods (one reputedly the best in town, according to the National Football franchise that use him) and two sports physios. And at no time in the two years since my injury have I had a prediction from any one of them thats not had some sort of maybe attached. If you believe, then only God knows. If you want to know more about your odds do some research, and try to be realistic in your expectations. I have some interesting info on my website but nothing about predictions of operative success. If you find some could you please let me know and I will post it. Best of luck. :)ianb www.goodpainbadpain.com
