Three years ago I has two MRI's and the doc said you just have an ACL strain. Today the pain is back and it is severe. I usually ice before bed but lately is does not help.

The doc said they really can not do anything because it is a strain. He did suggest molded shoe inserts since I have a flat foot, but that has seem to make it worse so I stop using them. Nike shoes have seem to be the best.

If I try to kneel down: 1) my left knee will not bend completely and 2) I need help getting back up.

Walking is a problem as the day moves on.

Ocassionally my knee makes a poping sound while bending it.

Any help is greatly appreciated !

Michael

  • Well I just got he same thing yesterday, and my cousin strained his a couple years back and my cousin streched that small muscle in his ACL by accedent to cause the strain so if yours was flexed to then its a matter of time befor it breaks and depends on the amount/ type of physical activity u do
