Backstory: I tore my ACL when I was about 10 years old during a gymnastics practice. I had an ACL repair (hamstring) done when I was about 14. That was about 10 years ago.
Problem: When I do anything that puts pressure on the front of my knee(walking up steps, certain exercises) i get a sharp pain in the front of my knee where the patellar tendon attaches to my knee cap. I also feel a small "popping" sensation sometimes just walking. It doesn't hurt. I was wondering if Kinesio tape would help along with muscle strengthening?
