I found out I had high blood pressure when I was 15 and after 100's test the doctors confirmed Renal Artery Stenosis. I have since had an operation to fix the problem but have also developed an anxiety over the doctors. I haven't been for a check up for three years but recently my health has deteriated loads. I have a constant backache, earache, swollen fingers, sore calfs, very high b.p and its got to the stage now where I am dragging myself out of bed to work. My urine is constantly strong and terrible when I am due on. I work with the elderly and my blood pressure is higher then any service user. My mother is worried that my kidneys are starting to fail but I would like some more opinions please before I return to the doctors.
I need to work and am worried I might need time off.
