does anyone know if it is possible to only have one affected kidney when you have polycystic kidney disease?

  • i wish i could help but i'm actually wondering the same thing. i posted a thread a little earlier titled "polycystic multi dysplastic kidney," if its up maybe you could read it and help me out too. my sister is about 31 weeks pregnant and her unborn baby has 8 new cysts in 4 weeks (on his right kidney). the paper she left the doc's office with just had the words "polycystic multi dysplastic kidney disease" and the date and time of an appointment with another doc on it. we're totally at a loss and have no idea what is going on.
