I've been reading through a number of threads on here as I've had quite some time on my hand over the holidays to worry!
I should start by saying I'm a 30yo male, smoke occasionally and I am overweight - I have had no previous medical problems other than quite high bp (around 140/90).
I went to the doctor last week as I was having testicular pain that seemed to radiate into my right leg. Its a pain a remember having before (dull ache) but someone I spoke to said it could be a UTI so I decided to have it checked out. The doctor checked my abdomen and groin and found nothing wrong. He did a dip urine test which he said showed trace blood- also my bp was a bit higher than my normal (147/94). I have now been referred for a blood test and full urine test.
I didn't think of this at the time but for a few years I've had right flank pain that was originally diagnosed as muscular and I've tended to ignore it since. The pain is mainly when i'm sitting/lying in one position for long periods and getting up and walking about generally makes it go. Its quite a sharp pain like the stitch you get after running to start with and then kind of becomes a bit dull as it dies down - but I wouldn't rate it very highly on the 'pain scale' perhaps 5 or 6. Recently we moved office and I had a new chair and the pain has occurred more - but again I just put this down to the chair (I have very bad posture).
I'm a little worried about this and wondered if this symptoms would look like anything anyone here has seen - or is there anything else I should be looking out for/asking my doctor.
Thanks in advance
