I'm a 22 year old female who has had three cases of pyelonephritis in the last year. Six months ago i noticed a lump in my lower back. the frist doctor I saw said it was just bone and 'in my head' and to forget it. The second doctor i saw said it was a cyst and hopefully it would go away on its own. I started having random episodes of vomiting 4 weeks ago and have since thrown up 33times in the past month for no reason. The pain became so terrible during this time that about 2 and a half weeks ago i was given Norco and Baclofen which have definitely helped but the vomiting (unrelated to the medication) hasn't stopped and my doctor keeps telling me she's sorry i'm sick and to just 'take it easy.'
I've read numerous stories of people who have had small kidney cysts that make them nauseous. I have an appointment to see my urologist next week...any suggestions as to what to say or ask at this point?
I'm down to 108 lbs and can't seem to keep anything down. It doesn't matter what i eat, when i eat, what i drink, etc. i cannot stop vomiting and i am very frustrated and feel very helpless. if anyone has any suggestions, they would be appreciated.
