  • We are at the beginning of treatment for my husband. He did the urine tests where you take it home and over a 24 hr period let them check your urine, then he had an ultrasound on the kidneys. He had all of this three years ago, and he has dropped 30 pts in relation to kidney function. He is now 46. I know what I am saying isn't exactly the correct terms, but I am worried about my husband and the drop. After the latest results are known, (he just had the ultrasound Friday) the dr is referring him to a renal specialist. To top it off, he bent over yesterday to pick something up and has severe pain now which he thinks is his kidney. Could this be his kidney do you think right after a 40 minute ultrasound, or what? Please reply.
