Hi My son is 11 months old and is having B/L hydronephrosis .Right now he is under observation .They do test (renal scan,IVP) after every 6 months.I dont know abt future but i am very much worried abt him.I heard that even after surgery these problems comes up again and surgery is not guaranteed at all.I want to know from you that what is the success rate of the surgery -as i saw the posts from you all it says 95% but i guess it is wrong as i see lot of kids coming up again in hospital aftre surgery.....
Do any of you hve a kid who had surgery few years back and is normal now. Also is there anyone of you whose child has been recovered itself from this hydronephrosis(without surgery) and is fine now
