Hurt my right hand one day when I switched from a heavy (steel) to a light racket while playing badminton. So it's probably a wrist injury. Sharp but subtle pain appear in the tendons on the back of my hand when I am hitting. A few hours later, all five fingers become swollen, which lasted a week. A week later, I played again and the same thing happened. So I stopped playing for several months, but every time I pronate my wrist (holding nothing), my fingers swelled for a few days. It's already six months, but my hand is still swollen.
When I go to orthopedics, x-ray shows nothing and the doc says he can't say anything because my hand wasn't swollen then.
A similar thing (switching from heavy to light racket) happen to my left hand, but my finger didn't swell, but tingle when I hit afterward. So I am guessing it's carpal tunnel?
And recently, both of my fingers hurt when I am using the keyboard/ mouse. I don't know if this is a symptom but I tried to completely relax my right hand and lay it still for 10 to 20 minutes, and then it turn very dark (left hand doesn't turn as dark).
Just wondering what is wrong with my right hand, and is their any treatment other than rest or therapy that will speed up or even start the healing?
