3 weeks ago I came off my bike at high speed and smashed into a guardrail. My left thigh took the brunt of the impact, halfway between the knee and thigh. I have substantial swelling. Twice doctors drained a pinkish color liquid ( 240cc and 250 cc ) but finally the social security trauma specialist said this was not neessary, that the body would/should absorb the liquid. I was told to wear a tight compressor bandage which I have done but the swelling is the same. I am waiting for a resonance scan and in the meantime am resting. I have a tearing sensation inside my thigh where I assume I ripped the muscle and I have searing constant pain unless I take a painkiller. By the way, I am 54, my knees are very very degraded with artrosis, both knees meniscus removal from racing injuries as a lad. I am worried because my mobility is seriously affected.
HELP

All and anything that you may not even think is related.I too have been there and can understand what you are feeling (yes including emotions) in relation to this accident. Some of the symptoms may have been there before hand, but the accident has also brought them to the forefront, which are now part of the accident.Regards,Skyhighnemo.PS Read my other posts for more information of natural remedies. And remember Nature ALWAYS wins.
