I was in a car accident on the weekend as a front passenger. it was scary! I watched in horror as our car smashed up the but of a ute who had stopped suddenly to turn right (that was one tough ute. it didn't move. but our poor car crumpled). Luckily we were only doing 40km coz it was a neighbourhood street. At the time we both were assured that no-one was hurt. i however, blacked out at the scene.
Ive sinse developed severe bruising from my shoulder right down my chest where the seatbelt must have been. i also feel rather stiff through my back, my neck is in agony, and my head is shaking thumping and caining like crazy. my head litterally shakes, like a tremor or something.
Today (wed) is the first day i've been able to talk straight. (been in a bit of shock) and I thought my shakes and headache and stiff neck might be caused by the shock and stress, but they're not getting any better.
the bruises are very deep all purple with red blood pockets.
it hurts so much i'm a bit angry that we were told we were fine when it happenned.
i know bruising is normal, but i've never bruised this deep before ever and i'm in so much pain! and i can barely move my neck for pain.
should i end up back at the doc or just grit my teeth and live with it?
