About two weeks ago I opened a cabinet and a shelf on one side collapsed and the canned food that was sitting on that shelf fell, along with the shelf, on top of my right foot.
It left a bruise there for a while and didn't hurt too badly...however, on Sunday night I was showering and felt a brief shot of pain. I finished my shower, got out and dried off and then sat down and looked at my foot. There is now a bump that has formed underneath my fourth toe...the lump is not ON my toe but underneath it on my foot. I touch it and it's somewhat hard and hurts (therefore I stopped touching it :p ). I am a college student and work full time and can't get to my doctor to have him look at it until Friday. Has anyone ever heard a fractured foot where they are walking okay but a bump has formed? Or has anyone ever had any trauma to their foot that caused the same symptoms as this? I know this isn't a place for medical diagnosis but I just want an idea of what it possibly could be...just to hold me over till Friday when I see my doctor :o
