I have a cold at the moment. I want to travel to Buenos Aires for a week (departing 23 Sep). I understand that the yellow fever injection is not compulsory, just recommended.Correct? Further, I know I cannot have the injection while I'm sick, but will it have any effect if a take it 3-4 days before departing? A friend of mine told me he got sick from the injection. I don't know what to do. I have hay fever and sinus problems (in general). Does this make me more at risk if I don't take the yellow fever injection?
