I have a 2 week old baby and we have been invited to a party, one of the other children going has streptococcus and her skin is peeling on her fingers, i know she has been unwell with a cold etc, does anyone know anything about this, is it contagious and if so is it dangerous for my baby?

  • Yes this is contageous. I have been looking up info due to my 2 year old with Scarletina which is related to Staph. From all that I've read, all staph infections can be contageous in some way. Try to read as much as you can. I'd rather be safe than sorry and not go. Even if the syptoms are going away there are different stages to different infections.
