About 17 months ago I noticed that the tip of my nose was loosing a lot of the soft tissue, The skin appeared normal, no breaks or injuries. My nose was really stinging & turning very pail. Over the last 17 months I have been loosing soft tissue everywhere in my body, especially round boney parts, hands, feet, elbows knees & even my genitals.
My hands etc are very boney & all the veins bones & even the sinewy parts are all now visable with very little or no soft tissue surrounding them, the skin is still normal although it does seem very yellowy in places.
I have had quite a few tests done all showing nothing apart from a nose biobsy showed chronic inflammation, but not the cause.
This is a nightmare as now my children & partner are all showing the same symptoms, they are all loosing soft tissue in various parts of their bodies & have the same yellow tinge under the skin. Even a baby in the family has a very pail yellow nose & cheeks.
This is absolutely horrendous, as Drs etc can't find out why & are starting to fob me off with differents things it could be but nothing definate.
My face looks twice as old as it should as I have lost most of the soft tissue in my cheeks so the skin is now sagging.
I don't know how this is all going to end, because if we have something that is destroying the soft tissue what other organs is it going to destroy.
This is also contagious as so many of the family are now showing symptoms but the drs are saying it's not an infection, but how many other people are going to be infected by this before Drs find out what it is.
Every part of my body that is showing these symptoms starts off tingerling & stinging, then it feels cold & numb when the tissue under the skin is slowly being destroyed.
There is no fever and energy levels, appetite remain pretty normal.
I really need help, time is running out, & I don't know how much more of this I can take before I finally find out what is causing this & get some sort of treatment.
PLEASE has anyone got any ideas.
