I first had this rash show up with I was 9 years old. Then it was gone for 9 years.
Then it showed up again. I thought maybe it was because of stress, because things wernt so great at that time. It lasted for about 6 months, and slowly went away. Now its been back 2 more times. I actually count them as 1 because there was hardly a break inbetween. Its been almost a year this rash has been here and it just wont go away. Sometimes there are lots of spots, sometimes just a few, but its annoying and doesnt look very nice.
I've hear that there is only a 3 % chance that I comes back.. So why has it come back so many times? Why wont it go away!?
I've been to the doctor and they give me creams, but nothing works. They told me that exposure to the sun usually helps, but I tan frequently in the summer and that didnt work either.

Just wondering if anyone else has this issue that keeps comming back? If there is anything new to try, or anyone that found something that worked for them.

Im sick of my skin looking this way, so any info would be appreciated. Thanks

  • Jennifer,I hate to say it, but I was happy to read your posting. That is to say, I am happy someone else knows what I am going through. I started in January with a herald patch on the back, it has never gone completely away, and is in its fourt full recourance. The dermatoligist has not been able to do much for me. The shots and pills stopped the itching, but the symptoms persist. Any information you get would be greatly appreciated.Tim

  • Hello Tim, Im also glad to hear someone has the same situation. :) I was told that only 3 % of the world get this, and only 1% of the 3 has it more than once. So wow.. we are in the 1 % :) If I find anything that works for me, I'll be sure to post it for you. Good Luck !Jennifer
