Hi all,

My doctor just gave me the blood test result that I have Oral Herpes / HSV-1. Is it possible the blood test is wrong and I should get a second opinion? Thank you so much for any theories / suggestions

  • Have you ever had a cold sore?Even if you haven't you could still have the virus. About 80% of the population has it in the US. If you have a good immune system, it could be completely suppressed (i.e. no external cues). I wouldn't worry about it too much. It isnt' that big of a deal.
