My father who is aged 62 years, is suffering from Fungal Meningitis as per doctor's diagnosis.

It started with high fever and joint pains. This went for 5 days during which he had medications for Fever and Joint pains. On 6th day he was looking at people but did not respond to their queries. He did not know that he was urinating on his bed. He was then hospitalised and given medications as per fungal meningitis (This was later confirmed through Lumbar Puncture test done on the Cerebro Spinal Fluid). He started talking. The best we saw out of him (mentally) was between 3rd to 6th day of antibiotics administration period.

Now after 9 days of Medications on Fungal Meningitis it is negative on the Lumbar Puncture test.

1. He is shaky when he moves his hands. It is 3 days since the antibiotics administration is stopped.
2. He is unable to move his legs. Physiotherapy is being done from 2 days.
3. He is groaning. When asked, he says that there are no pains anywhere, but he still groans.
4. He shows some unsatisfied expressions, but when asked for problems, he says there are none.

Is this going the right way?.........Please help!!
