I came out of hospital in the UK at end January 2008, Within 1 week or so I started having problems with red eyes and not feeling very well, Now in April 2008 I seem to have pinpointed things and it seems that I have an infection
of some kind in my sinus behind the eyes (Ethimoid ??) and what I am noticing is that the skin (a) at upper part of my nose on each side (b) at top of forehead on hairline , are greasy feeling. Plus ,if I wipe my finger across
those greasy areas at top of nose I can then smell a horrible smell on finger tip. My sinuses are blocked and am trying to unblock but saline water doesnt do it. Tried Amoxycillin but doesnt clear it. When I swallow in certain way I can taste a horrible taste of infection from right up in back of throat coming from sinuses I presume.
My questions are. (a) does this sound like infection picked up in hospital ?
(b) is it possible for such infection to hang on for 13 months (c) what do I do ?
