hello, my boy was diagnosed with congenital cmv by pcr (viral load=22,000), the only symptom was a scar in the retina. brain US and BERA were normal. we started treatment with iv gancyclovir. I read that this drug has gonadal toxicity, I wanted to ask what is the risk for my child to suffer from infertility?
thank you, Dana from Israel
