I am moving to Haiti next June with my family and that includes our precious 3 cats. I have a cat that is 16, he's a tiger cat, one that is 6, she's a maine coon and one that is 3, kind of a "heinz 57". I love them all dearly and I'm afraid that they'll pick up parasites or other diseases that may actually take their little furry lives!! My husband lived there 4 years ago for one year and lost one cat and brought one back who barely survived. Does anyone know of specific diseases and/or precautions we could take so their chances of survival are better?
Looking forward to chatting,
