Hi, I am suffering from Blastocystis Hominis since two months. Since a couple of days I am taking Metronidazol (for seven d.). Until yet I couln't find out wheter Bl. has any affects on the resorption of oral contraceptivs. My gynaecologist suggested to change from the pill to the Evra-patch (is this known in the US under the same name?) I would prefer continuing with the pill, but I'm not sure if this is the best option. Does anybody know more about this?
