Our 5 month old is socially delayed. He is not making eye contact and rarely smiles at faces or familiar voices. He can/does track but isnt easily interested in toys in general. We’ve been working on tummy time to strengthen his head control in hopes that he will develope more eye control- as they don’t always track Demetre ally.
We have had an MRI and neurologist look at him, we’Ve had his vision assessed and some basic genetic testing. So far nothing has been diagnosed as the cause so have started with a local ocupational therapist. Physically he isnt too far behind but he doesn’t sit up or roll over yet. Would love to hear from any parents who are or have experienced something similar with their child.
