My 3 1/2 month old girl was eating 5oz of formula every 3-4 hours. At her last doctor appt. (5 days ago) she weighed 10 lbs. and was 23 in. long. The doctor said that she is in the 5th percentile for weight. The doctor said that she needs to eat more and closer to every 3 hours instead of 4. I've been trying to give her 6 oz. Sometimes she'll eat it and sometimes she won't. If she's not hungry she won't eat. Her eating now for the past few days has been very inconsistent. For example, she ate 6 oz at 2:30 am. She didn't eat again until 9:30 am but only ate 2 1/2 oz. She spits up a lot as well so I'm worried that she isn't getting eonough to eat. She's still smiling and playful so I don't think she's feeling bad. I thought she might be teething but the doctor said that wouldn't effect her eating. Should I be worried?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
