Help please. I have bone pain all thoughout my body. My orthopedic took x-rays of my hands and feet and found "dark spots" around all the joints. He said it could be rheumatoid arthritis or show bone loss. I am only 25 years old. Has anyone else had similar x-ray results? What conditions could explain bone loss. The docs also think that the 3 bumps I have on my hands and leg are ganglion cysts (sp?). Would these be related to arthritis or bone loss?

  • Ganglion cysts are swelling under the skin that are filled with a jelly-like substance. They are usually the result of an injury or trauma of some sort. (It could have been minor that you don't even recall it.) Hope this helps.
