  • The dosoge of immunoglobulins is calculated by weight and severity of your disorder people usually infuse once every fortnight or 3 weekly. I have CVID common variable immunodeficiency also known as hypogammaglobulanemia and was having 3 weekly transfusions the hospital i attend worked out the dose 60mg i think i am now on sub cut (small needle under the skin rather than into a vein) i have 8 small vials to infuse which is alot quicker and less reactions. If you continue to get infections while on transfusions you can get your dose increased. Hope you get sorted out and get the right dose it makes such a difference to quality of life. Diane:)
