I have been treated for 10 months with methotrexate etc for RA. I have had all along NO joint pain only pain around the joints and in the soft tissue. In these areas I have fast growing calcium lumps which the better half breaks up with massage. Trouble is I am now loosing the use of my hands with them going that stiff due to this. I am also slightly aneamic (I take iron tablets) and my ggt is 140. I have asked the rheumatologist about the crystals and he says "NO IDEA" I am also RF negative althoug my esr is 39 and my crp 51.
I wa looking at tumoral calcinosis??
Help please
