I was involved in a car accident back on Aug. 2nd (not my fault). I initially had pain in my back and wrist. The major pain was my wrist. I was transported by ambulance to the hospital. They did CT on my back and neck and nothing was done on my wrist. They were more worried about the back and neck.
Six weeks later, the doctors decided to do an MRI on my wrist.....I still had pain. It showed a ganglion cyst and tendinopathy. The doctors before they sent me for an MRI had me do ICE, REST, Physical Therapy, Ultrasound, Shocks.
So, now they say there is nothing they can do for me other than send me to a hand surgeon for an injection to prevent surgery.
My question is:
Do I need to be worried about this injury?
I need my income and really can't be off work for a while.
