Over the weekend I injured my wrist/forearm, playing with my 13y/o son, I went down on fist and got my arm knocked foward cuasing my weight to fall on bent wrist, (the way it sould bend, but very hard and possibly too far.) I have pain in wrist and forearm almost up to my elbow, with a swollen spot about 2.5 to 3 inches above my wrist. I can move my wrist, although it causes pain (sharp). Even typing this is very uncomfortable! (movement of fingers causes discomfort, but is possible. I guess I'm just looking for an opinion of wether to wait it out and see if it gets better or I should get it checked out? If so, Dr.s office or just go to ER? Thanx I know this sounds dumb but who feels like going to Dr. or Hosp. I tend to always put it off, when it concerns me!!!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
