Ok, so I am going to be going to my 20th doctor visit soon with no hopes of coming close to what is going on with me. I experience pain, tingling(like my hands asleep) and eventually loss of function if I over use my hand on anything. Over using could be something as simple as trying to play the guitar for more then 30 seconds or using a tool that vibrates. It starts to hurt, then the tingling comes in as the pain gets worse, then as the pain becomes even worse then that it becomes hard to grasp or use my hand at all. The pain is at the base of the wrist and radiates to the whole hand and wrist, along with this I get elbow pain also which acts very similar except for the loss of function part. I have had EMG done and it has come back completely normal, thus has some motion tests come back negative. I have tried splints and cortisone treatments with no help whatsoever.
Not sure what other details you need, but ask and I will be happy to give. Any info would be great, its horribly depressing for me to be laying in bed in pain not able to do even the most basic of tasks because i decided to do something the day before that set my wrists off.
