I have mucinous breast cancer,T1, N0, M0. I have also been told that I have invasive ductal carcinoma, so I am presuming that my mucinous cancer is mixed, but don't know for sure. I am E+ and P+, but don't know my Her status yet - presumably negative with this type of cancer.
I am 61 and I have been offered Tamoxifen and Radiotherapy for this. I am concerned that the side-effects/complications of these treatments may be wose than the disease as I already suffer considerable joint pain. A bone scan has ruled out bone cancer, although a CT scan showed up slight changes in the blood vessels in the liver, which I have been told are also non-cancerous, but have been advised to have another Ct scan in 6 months.
Any advice on the best options for treatment will be much appreciated.
