I had pinworms as a child, and I've recently have had "tickling" around my anal area. I have looked in that area, and found nothing, but once, I saw some very small black colored wormp-like things-about the thickness of sewing thread and about 1/8th long. I know they are not pin worms because of the color, and maybe they are nothing. That area has been feeling that way off and on for a couple of months. Can you help?

  • Being that the anal area has alot of nerve endings you could be feeling nerve endings kinda misfiring. Could be just a normal anal itch "my guess" go to a drug store and look for a cream for anal itching. As far as a worm or such if you find anything like that you need to bag it and get it to a MD asap to identify it and get the correct prescription to kill any larva.
