My wife for about a year now has been battling the following symptoms and illnesses:

Severe, severe, sinus infections: Causes extreme pain in the head

Overall fatigue: Very tired all of the time, regardless of how much she sleeps.

Migraines: She does take medicine for this, that seems to help but still has them from time to time. My guess is the sinus issues are the main cause of this.

Congestion: Always coughing something up, more so in the morning.

Allergies: She was tested for allergies. Waiting on the food allergy test to come back, but she did find out that she is severely allergic to dust and mold.

At this point we aren't sure what to do. Nothing seems to stop the sinus issues from happening. Any direction or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Brian

  • She might think about learning to use a neti pot for nasal irrigation. But please get help from a doctor in learning how to do this. Someone else on this forum thought you had to sniff the sulotion up the nose and got sick from doing so.

I had hemaplegic migranes (paralyzed on one side). Finally I went to a dr that specialized in headaches. From there I had a CT scan. It was my sinuses. My sinus passage was too small for my sinuses to drain. I had to have a total reconstruction. I also had a cyst on my sinuses. Once I had the reconstruction I haven't had a migraine since. As far as the allergies I was tested as well. I found out that mold, dust was my biggest problems as well. There are products to cover your mattress as well as pillows. There is a product that you can spray on furniture to keep down the dust. Linens have to washed more often, vaccum more often as well. Keep the mop outside. I have also found that allergy injections have help tremendously. Good LuckImblessed
