I am always getting mad and irritated at everyone for every little thing. I am in high school and alot of the people I know are calling me a bad person. I have never been called this, I have always been known as one of the sweetest people but now even my best friend, the only person i really get along with, says i have been being mean to her. I do not want to be this kind of person. So i am just wondering how I can not get mad so easily and become a better person.

  • These look like psychological "problems" which are temporary and with time you will understand how to deal with it. Just don't make it a thing of big importance when somebody says or does something to you. Take an easy :)

It could be a hormonal issue or even a sign of anxiety or depression. Talk to your doctor. I was placed on an antidepressant and the world is right again.

  • Acting different can be from anything like stress to physical problems or growths in the brain. If personality changes it should be investigated.

  • I hear that depression can manifest itself in different people in different ways. Some become easily angered, some in the form of anxiety, others in the more obvious fashion, sadness. You see most people think of the most obvious, which is sadness, but that is not always the case.I would seek to get screening for it.It is a chemical imbalance not a personality flaw.Good luck.

All human adolescence (teenagers) go through this to one extent or the other!! Rebellious teen years parents call it!!Your GP doctor could do a blood work up to make sure their not too out of line and get a good family history to make sure their is no history of mental problems surfacing now....this would be for an extreme case of some sort of mood swing!! Your parents can figure this one out and would know when to take you to the doctor!! Have you sat down with your parents and talked with them about all this? That is really your first step....keep them in the loop and don't shut them out...they love you and want the best for you :)Semper Fi
