Help! My husband has white patches on his penis, they do not itch and do not have any puss or fluid in them. They are not pimple like--larger and not blisters. They are flat but raised, like plateus and are not getting any better with treatments. There are no other symptoms. Neither of us have a history of STDs or cancers. Any ideas? (was diagnosed as yeast infection, but didn't clear up with antibiotics.)

  • If they are beneath the foreskin, then it sounds like a yeast infection. Antibiotics wouldn't cure a yeast infection (in fact they can make it even worse), so it is hard to know why he was prescribed them. Thrush cream is a normal treatment if he hasn't tried this already.

  • If you have ever been treated for yeast your partner should be treated concurrently. My Dr recommended the best application I'd ever heard of. She said to insert medication and then have sex. ;) You can buy anti-fungal yeast cream at any pharmacy or wal-mart over the counter for about $15.00Give it a try, it might be fun. I hope it helps.Lesa
