I can tell you that eating that type of 'stuff' will not help you gain weight. If you are really that under weight, have you tried a complex carbohydrate/ high protein diet and exercise. If you can't gain weight with that type of diet, then there would be an issue.http://www.thedietchannel.com/Weight-gain-diet.htmhttp://www.gainingweight.info/weight-gain-diet-and-nutrition/

  • Firstly, green stool is not an indicator of pathology of any type. If you don't mind, please describe your dietary habits from the standpoint of what you eat, how often and how much. This is not to necessarily suggest any association to the comment regarding anorexia, but since dietary intake is a direct correlate here, it's important to know. Certain disorders of the small intestine can cause malabsorption, but there are tests to determine if such conditions exist and I would think that your doctor has already taken this into consideration. If you're constantly thirsty, with increased urination then I suppose it's warranted here to ask if you've undergone testing for diabetes. The changes in bowel habits could be of significance here in the regard that a phenomenon known as rapid transit is somewhat common in diabetics and depending upon a more precise description of your bowel habits, it may or may not be a factor. Best regards, J Cottle, MD

  • With out a laxitive I can not have any bowel movement I take every copule days but sometime it doesnt work and I become severly constipated I live with parents because there are times im so sick i cant even crawl to the toilet Im trying to figure out what is wrong with em because i have a potentially deadly problem that the doctor will not treat until he knows what else is wrong with me I have an arrythmia that witho out tenormin will beat constantly at 200 beats per min even when i am asleep theya rent sure where in the heart it comes from the upper or lower chamber on a good day I get up about 11am and have lunch usually a can of soup or grilled cheesethen I will snack eating eating candy, and cake until supper which isnt until 5-7 then usually macaroni and cheese, and vegetables or fish and rice something like that I don't eat other meats, then usually by 10pm another couple pieces of cake, and something like a banana for breakfast before i got to bed at 2am there also days that i get the runs so severly that even juice thickened with ice and supplement powder runs right through. i have had a period of this that has lasted for up to 6 months. I have been tested for Diabetes it runs in my family and I was at 120 fasting and i was told it was fine

  • Zion, I second the idea of testing with Igenex for Lyme and other tickborne diseases. Try to get a LLMD, Lyme Literate Doctor to check you. If a doctor doesn't know what LLMD means, they are probably not the doctor to see. Regular labs won't do the sensitive testing you need. Tickborne diseases bring on a lot of other issues. It took me 15 years and over 40 doctors to find a doctor who figured this out for me. Good luck ...

  • Hello, I AM NOT A DOCTOR. There is someone on this forum who hates it when I post anything about Lyme Disease. Actually the medical studies are questioning if tick borne diseases can be past across the placenta. So it should still be ruled out by a specialist. And you don't have to go outside to get it. A nymph stage of a dear tick is so very tiny and can come in on clothing, pets, etc. They are all over the US and the world. They are also so small it is nearly impossible to feel or see them, unlike dog ticks. I am not saying you even have a good chance of having lyme... but it is worth checking out, and ruling out. Read and research Lyme and see if it makes ANY sense. Be your own health advocate. I wish you much good luck.
