I've had many symptoms for many weeks now. Nothing seems to make sense. I don't know where to turn. It feels like something is going through my entire body. I've been checked for literally everything. I feel it moving though. One minute it will be under my foot, the next in my mouth, the next in my arm. Most recently my mouth, neck, eyes and ears. It all started 5 months ago like a tight band around my middle , just below my breasts. That went away for awhile but now its back. Can this be stress or anxiety? I had extreme pain behind the ears, my ENT put me on Prednisone to shrink my eustacian tubes, my Osteopath also said this would help to shrink any disk problem I might be having with my back. I have 1 pill left to take and now symptoms seem to be moving to other parts of my body. I don't know where to turn. I've read that people who scour the internet for things have anxiety or depression. Its like something is crawling through my nervous system. Even as I type its moving around. I don't sleep and I get through about 3/4 of a day at work and then start feeling badly. What can I do?

  • I'm not sure if I understand you correctly, but do you feel like you have something crawling under your skin? Like insects? Kiera

  • sounds like you are hypersensitive to your bodily functions. I think I am this way when it comes to my stomach. I can feel almost everything going on in there, even to the point of knowing when my stomach starts to empty. It is annoying and I wish I didn't feel this but it is not an illness and does not cause pain so I try to ignore it.

  • Look up panic attacks and anxiety. Oddly people don't feel anxious, but their body has unusual symptoms. Waves of energy etc. Also Morgellon's syndrome (but you don't have the itching), but you do have the crawlies.See if your doc might try Mirapex for restless leg syndrome.

  • You may be more sensitive to what goes on in your body than others. I would consult a Chinese doc, as the "flow of energy" might be an issue here. Accupuncture should be worth a try.
