I have tingling all over my body including face for about 3.5 months now. Recently I've been having minor muscle spasms. I had an MRI on head in 2009 and head/neck this month 2010, both were negative. My Nuro wants to do a spinal tap but I'm not sure it's the best thing to do.
I have multiple bone spurs on C4-C7 (6-8 total) which I'm told is pretty normal for a 44 year old male. Besides the constant tingling everywhere I don't have any other sypmtoms of MS.
I'm stuck. My Nuro says it's unlikely I have MS yet he wants to do a spinal tap. He also doesn't think the bone spurs will cause tingling in my face. So what is it? I'm very frustrated.
