i have a rapid heart beat and went to 2 different drs

They have done all kinds of test and cant find anything wrong

My heart is usually about 120 to 140, even before i got on the treadmill
my heart was 120 and they asked me if I was nervous.
i said no , I just want to find out what is wrong.

Here are my symptoms :

I get out of breath just taking a shower
I get dizzy
When i do too much , the next day I need to rest
Cant do my daily chores anymore
I get sweaty like im working out, but not
right now i am light headed

I can feel something is wrong. They put me on toprol.
Yesterday a co worker of my husband was talking about the same symptoms and went to alot of drs. who couldnt find anything wrong
with him.
he was told like i was , just built that way.
This one female dr. found as a last result, she found he has
white wolff sydrome. I guess it is rare and they did surgery on this

Now I am wondering if I have the same thing, I have the same symptoms
as he did.
It came on within about 6 months and I have gainedabout 40 pounds
in about 6 months and cant do what i used to do.
i used to fly fish with my husband and would like to go back to that.

can anyone help me with any suggestions.

  • i have atrial fibrillation and have some of your symptoms. is your pulse regular and just rapid? some people just have rapid heartbeats. i take a lot of medication for the afib and other health problems which make me feel like you describe quite often. if you are taking medication, perhaps it is affecting you. you might try one more dr, either a cardiologist or internist who you really trust.

  • You may be suffering from a nervous system disorder. If your symptoms seem worse when standing, it may be postural tachycardia syndrome. Symptoms include rapid heartbeat, lightheadedness with prolonged standing, headache, chronic fatigue, chest pain, and other nonspecific complaints. There aren't really any specific treatments besides increasing salt and fluid intake, but you should ask your doctor about it.
