  • That sounds just like a viral infection my son once had. I can't remember the name of it but I went to the doctor and he gave him a steriod injection which cleared it right up fast. His changed in appearance often as if it had phases. He was completely covered w/welps and swelling. First appeared red, then red w/white ring, then purple, black and was very itchy. He looked like a lepard and wasn't allowed to play w/other kids until seen by the doctor. Maybe yours isnt quite the same but it sounds similar.
