I have either a really weird or a really stupid question. I have noticed, for a really long time now, that when ever I get into water, my hands get really puffy and hurt really bad. Just the bottom of my hands. I know that most people also get puffy hands when they go swimming, but me, I get it when I take a short shower. My dad is also this way. We rarely go swimming, cause it hurts soooo bad. I can't do dishes by hand, or else it feels like someone is trying to squeeze all my skin together. Sometimes, I guess it even happens on the bottom of my feet. It is so bad that I take a shower as fast as I can. I really don't even have to have any lotion on that part of the hands. They are naturally soft, and never dry out. Does anybody even have an idea what it could be? Is it possibly a allergic reaction to something thats put in the water? My dad and I have very sensitive skin on other things, so why not the water also? I am not really too worried, but just want to know. A friend of mine once told me that is was called something, but I can't remember the name. I also have Hashimoto's thyroiditis, and fibromialgia, are these factors also?If anyone has a tinest idea it would be really helpful!!!
