I've been having some symptoms and the dr. hasnt found an answer yet so I'm hoping for some insight. I had a baby 7 months ago and since then my body has been out of whack. Ive had headaches, blurry vision, stomach cramps, blood when I went to the bathroom etc. People told me they could all be symptoms of nursing but I have stopped nursing and all the symptoms continued. My gastro did a colonoscopy because he was concerned about the bleeding but that came up normal. Then I started to keep a food log because it felt that every time i had the cramps and GI symptoms my body was trying to get rid of poison. I soon realized every stomach ache was preceded by a bowl of noodles. I basically cut out noodles for a few days and the stomach problems stopped. One day I was hungry and had a bowl and my eyes all of a sudden got blurry. So I realized all the issues were related to pasta. After doing research I saw that I pretty much had every symptom of celiac disease (even that it comes out in some people after pregnancy) the only problem is I just took the blood test and all the results were totally normal. When I eat gluten I feel so sick I have no energy, I feel like I have a hangover the next morning bc Im so sick to my stomach. Without gluten I feel clear headed and the debilitating stomach issues have stopped. Should I just follow a gluten free diet or could there be something else causing my strange symptoms?
